It's not quite a mystery knit along, it's not quite a pattern. But it IS all fun and games!
Roll the die (included) to determine what to do next on your shawl! Each number is associated with a different stitch pattern. You do whatever the die tells you to, and you end up with a surprise shawl! Everyone's shawl will be similar, but no two will be alike! This is one game you can't lose!
This year's inspiration is Edward Gorey, who described his genre as “literary nonsense”. His love of cats, ballet and the somewhat macabre is truly unique. You may be familiar with his art even if you don’t know his name. He illustrated the book Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, by T. S. Eliot. That book was the basis for the musical Cats. Set includes the pattern booklet, custom die and 3 skeins of 100% superwash merino fingering weight yarn from the Fiber Faerie, custom dyed for this project.
